Houston Marketing Specialist January 4, 2010 Full-Time

Overall Parts Solutions (OPS) is seeking a Marketing Specialist who will market software programs to diverse clientele. OPS ranked in the top five best companies to work for in DFW by the Dallas Business Journal for four consecutive years.  The desired candidate must be self-motivated, creative, passionate and able to fit into the fast-paced dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Scheduling and coordinating software demonstrations.
  • Development and execution of strategic plan for increasing customer software usage.
  • Promote software program around customer retention and growth:
      • Direct-to-customer promotions
      • Sales channel promotions
      • E-mail marketing campaigns
  • Generate prospective customers through responding to in-bound leads and marketing promotions.
  • On-time submittal of daily/weekly/monthly activity reports.
  • Provide ongoing marketing support services to field sales teams, executives and product managers.
  • Entry of all calls or activities into OPS internal database.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or concerns swiftly and professionally.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with a high degree of independence.
  • Ability to give presentations ranging from individual to small size groups.
  • Maintain professional appearance and communications skills/relations with clients.
  • Marketing or Sales experience recommended but not required.  Will train on job.
  • Detailed oriented – ability to manage projects and processes.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt.
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet navigation.
  • Relable Transportation
